Games Galore - Ransom Notes

Find #1

The game of hilariously terrible sentences! Players use word magnets to respond to outlandish prompts like “Tell someone you’ve clogged their toilet at a party” with just their limited pool of words. This one comes recommended by a fellow Hive member who said she had a great time playing this with her adult kids during the holidays!

Games Galore - Balderdash

Find #2

Time to grab the “bull” by the horns and hope other players don’t call your bluff! The Balderdash game features compelling, unbelievable-but-true content in five categories. You make up creative definitions and guesses to read alongside the real answers.

Tiffany's Pick: The definitions people make up are hilarious! This is a good game for creative thinkers who can come up with crazy but plausible definitions for words.

Games Galore - You're Getting Old

Find #3

The title alone had us cracking up! Draw cards with an “old” and “redeem” prompt. Players move their pieces up and down their “Path To Getting Old” card based on if they’ve said or done what’s listed in the prompt. For example, if you’ve ever scrolled Spotify’s top 100 list and thought to yourself, “Who the hell are these people?” you have to move up a space.

Games Galore - Blokus

Find #4

Blokus is the fast-paced strategy game that delivers “One Rule, Endless Possibilities!”

Enjoy stimulating challenges, big laughs and even solo fun. This thinking game also delivers friendly competition to keep the mind sharp and the excitement going!

Trish's Pick: Love the strategy involved in this game and can play with my husband or the whole family!

Games Galore - Like Totally 80s

Find #5

Flashback to the most radical decade of all time! Play over 400 pop culture questions crammed with pictures, trivia and various game challenges. Relive gnarly fashions, trends, movies, tv and the tunes! Bonus: Listen to the complimentary game soundtrack on Spotify while you play.

Games Galore - Times Up

Find #6

A twist to the traditional game of charades. This is a great party game for all ages that gets everyone involved in the play. The guessing provides a bit of a memory recall as you play through all three rounds.

Marty's Pick: This is such a great game for a larger group as your teams can be pretty big and you can adapt the game as needed. It is action-packed and keeps everyone's interest - love it!

BONUS: Tell us what your favorite game is in the comments section here (must be signed in as a user so we have your contact info) OR on our "The Hive Women" Facebook Page and be entered to WIN the Blokus Game.

* Contest runs 10/27-10/29/2024. No purchase necessary. One winner will be randomly selected and contacted by the Hive Team on 10/30 as long as we have your contact info (if you comment as a guest we have no way of knowing who you are :). Blokus game will be delivered or mailed to the lucky winner!

I may be the hive member you spoke of - but my family loves Ransom Notes! It is so fun and there are no complicated rules for new players to learn. You can play for as long as you like since there is no set end. My witty son always wins but we have fun trying.

We just love Quirkle! It’s a crazy game of strategy, matching patterns and colors, while connecting wood tiles. It’s easy to take along while traveling, since the tiles come in a fabric bag. Pam Feldman

Catan is our favorite, there is a little learning curve but it’s a great strategy game if you have the patience to learn it! Been around awhile and there is a Jr version too!

We love Balderdash too in our family! young and old and all levels of "intelligence" can do well at this game. I'm not a true board game person but remember many laughs at Thanksgiving playing this with extended family

Our current favorite board game is Blank Spaces. My nephews are 8 and 10, and it is a game we can all play together. It is quick paced and easy to learn.
